Rabbits - Farmed
The breed of rabbit we process and market is the New Zealand White and as the name suggests were originally imported from New Zealand 12 years ago specifically for meat production. They are a very large rabbit and can weigh over 2 kg by the time they are processed at 12 – 13 weeks. The rabbits are fed on a ration of barley, oats lucerne and corn. Our rabbits are not given any growth promotants or hormones. Rabbit meat is white to pink in colour and is very tender and tasty as well as being high in protein. This meat suits all styles of cooking and can be easily braised, BBQ'd or roasted.

Onkaparinga Venison
Our Australian venison is a consistently high quality product. It has a rich flavour, fine texture, and low fat content. A classic game meat that suits both grilling and braising. Best consumed with a glass of red wine.

Buffalo
Buffalo meat comes from young farmed buffalo that have been fed and managed specifically to produce very lean excellent quality meat. Buffalo can be slightly darker than beef with a stronger, gamier, meatier flavour. The richer flavour of buffalo makes it very popular with those who are adventurous enough to try it. All the usual cooking methods such as grilling, BBQing, stewing, roasting, pan frying and braising can be used to prepare buffalo as a delicious meal.

Wild Boar
Sourced from the wild in northern NSW feeding onnatural grasses and bushes. Europe cannot get enough of this product. Many restaurants now feature wild boar as their signature dish.
